Founded in March 2022, Bows & Breauxs began as a dream—a heartfelt vision of bringing something truly special to our community. What started as a series of pop-up events soon became a beloved storefront in Texarkana, Texas, where families could shop in person, feel the fabrics, and experience the warmth of our boutique.

👩⚕️ Carmen Copeland – Founder, Pediatric Nurse & Boutique Owner
For over 20 years, Carmen has dedicated her life to caring for little ones as a pediatric nurse. But her passion for high-quality, sensory-friendly children’s clothing led her to take a leap of faith and open Bows & Breauxs Boutique. As a mom and grandmother, she knows firsthand how important it is for children’s clothing to be both comfortable and timeless—a philosophy that guides every piece in the boutique.
💛 Supported by Family: Carmen’s boutique journey wouldn’t be possible without the support of her loving husband, Mike, and her mom, Nita, who helps run the store and has become a beloved presence for customers. Their commitment to this boutique is what makes it feel like home.

The name "Bows & Breauxs" is a tribute to Carmen’s Louisiana heritage. The unique spelling of "Breauxs" reflects the French influence of her upbringing, while the boutique’s colors—purple, gold and black —pay homage to her love for LSU (Louisiana State University) and the New Orleans Saints.
